Dr. Kristin Sherman is an 18 year veteran teacher in Texas public schools and has been a Master Teacher in the Teach North Texas program since 2009. Kristin spent 10 years in McKinney ISD as a high school chemistry teacher for McKinney High School and for McKinney Boyd High School. She has also worked in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD at Blalack Middle School as a science and math teacher. Other school districts she has taught for include Diboll ISD, Lufkin ISD, and Central ISD. Kristin is a certified Chemistry, Physical Science, and Mathematics teacher and a certified Principal in the state of Texas. Kristin holds a B.S. in chemistry, a M.Ed. in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Ph.D. in chemistry from University of North Texas. Kristin is married to Scott Sherman and has two children: Stephen and Jessica.
