Kris Sherman is a Master Teacher in the Teach North Texas program since the Fall of 2009. Before coming to TNT, she was a middle school and high school science and math teacher for 18 years. She earned a BS in chemistry from Stephen F. Austin State University, a, Masters in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry-Chemical Education from University of North Texas. She is a certified secondary chemistry, physical science, and mathematics teacher and a certified principal. Her research interests include how students learn to use instrumentation in chemical labs and how students learning in labs is used in the classroom.
