Teach North Texas (TNT) is a replication of the highly successful UTeach program at the University of Texas in Austin. Our goal is to thoroughly prepare secondary math and science teachers for the Texas public school system. Each course in the required curriculum contributes to the knowledge you need to succeed in the classroom.

Teach North Texas is a hands-on program that consists of 21 hours of coursework structured as a minor within your degree plan. The structure enables you to graduate within the timeframe of your degree. To complete our program, you must major in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Physics. We will soon be adding a degree plan for Computer Science majors as well.

TNT is a collaborative effort between the College of Science and the College of Education.
